Buffalo State is pleased to congratulate the students who completed the requirements to earn their baccalaureate degrees in summer 2016.

The Multicultural Student Bridge Program (MSBP) is a three-day pre-orientation program geared at providing incoming first year and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latino, Asian and Native American) and multiracial students with a jump start on college life at Lebanon Valley College. The program combines peer mentoring, residential living, academic success and leadership development to assist students in making a successful transition to college and the LVC community.

The Honors Program seeks to develop and intensify skills from a conceptual point of view in a diverse multidisciplinary analytical environment that nurtures independent thinking, creativity, respect and social responsibility.

SUNY New Paltz names 2016 Men's Soccer Team

SUNY New Paltz student-athletes named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic Team for Spring 2016.

The State University of New York at New Paltz women's and men's swimming teams have been named Spring 2016 College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams.

SUNY New Paltz student-athletes were named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's List for Spring 2016.

More than 200 new freshman, transfer and international students have been awarded merit scholarships to attend SUNY Oneonta beginning in the fall 2016 semester. The award amounts range from $1,000 to full in-state tuition scholarships of $6,470 per year.

This fall, SUNY Oneonta will welcome approximately 1,100 freshmen and 600 new transfer students hailing from across New York, as well as from 12 other states and countries. New students moved in on Aug. 24, and the fall 2016 semester starts Aug. 29. Our newest Red Dragons will officially join the Oneonta family when they walk through the historic pillars of Old Main during the traditional Pass Through the Pillars ceremony on the campus quad the night before classes begin.

Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average were honored with the academic achievement.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

SUNY New Paltz celebrates students who received scholarships during the 2015-2016 academic year.

To be eligible for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Spring Semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

A total of 1,469 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Nearly 600 students received bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 22 in Canton, New York.
